Implementation of Revol LIMS at Saudi Electricity Company (SEC)

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), the Kingdom's principal power generation, transmission, and distribution utility, undertook a digital transformation initiative across its testing and laboratory network to modernize quality operations. Manual, branch-specific workflows, disconnected systems, and a lack of real-time visibility were limiting efficiency, reporting speed, and proactive asset management.

To address these challenges, SEC deployed Revol Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) with a comprehensive suite of modules — Sample Manager, Integrator, Mobile App, Dashboard & Reporting, and Asset & Calibration Management etc. — along with structured legacy data migration. The solution enabled end-to-end digitization of testing operations across every branch, automated instrument and SAP integration, real-time executive reporting, and standards-based transformer health diagnostics. The deployment has improved reporting turnaround, eliminated redundant manual entry, and strengthened SEC's asset reliability and compliance readiness across its branch network.
