Revol LIMS is a Dot Net based solution supporting a variety of application servers from IBM, Oracle, and Red Hat, as well as modern databases from Oracle and Microsoft. It deploys ready for integration with instruments and other business systems. It can be centrally hosted for global deployment, supporting thousands of simultaneous users.
Multitier Architecture Presentation tier consisting of the web browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome or Apple Safari) Application tier consisting of a Dot Net Data tier consisting of a database server (Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server). Reports may be executed from Revol on the application server tier or from a dedicated report server tier.
Web BrowserRevol LIMS runs in a web browser on the client tier. The application does not require any browser plug-ins or applets, which significantly simplifies deployment and system validation. The client requires approximately 12kB of TCP/IP bandwidth making it a perfect solution for wide area access from a centrally hosted server.
ReportingRevol LIMS supports several options for the analysis and reporting of data. Out of the box, Revol LIMS uses SSRS Reports which executes from the application server.
Instrument IntegrationRevol LIMS has a framework to enable integration of instruments and systems across the enterprise. This includes a data integration platform for instruments and system interfacing as well as web services for system interoperability.

»Lab Instruments Interfacing / Integrating: The laboratory instruments can be integrated in one of the following methods: if the instrument has the ability to issue reports in the format of (PDF, EXCEL, CSV, Etc.), data should be extracted by attaching device in RS232 port or any other means of connectivity. In case of old instruments, a screen should be provided for many entry of the results
»Calculations: Revol LIMS provide the platform to perform medium complex formulas and calculations for the readings extracted from the instruments
»Lab Reporting: Revol LIMS provide timely and efficient general laboratory reports addressing all labs needs and enabling the automated of ESMA standards with the range of limits per each test
»Quality Control (QC): Revol LIMS Provide appropriate QC services to ensure all labs are utilizing QC management methodology in accordance with the requirements of ISO 17025:2017 and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 for testing laboratories, including but not limited to the following: QC charts for method performance calibration and certificate, acceptable detection limits for SOPs, Method specifications and validation, auto calculations and automatic verification of results according to preset criteria, proficiency testing and staff competency, audit plans and reports, instrument maintenance schedules and PPMs, document version and modification control, individual job assignments with email /text alerts
»Inventory Control: Revol LIMS will cover all of inventory control and management (ordering, tracking and distribution) for all items inventoried by a lab. This will be done through with Revol inventory management system to track activities including lot number and expiration date tracking for QC purposes
»ERP Integration Capabilities: Revol LIMS is capable of integrating with SAP ERP, ORACLE ERP and other ERM systems using SOAP /REST APIs

Result Entry
Revol Result Entry screen provides the opportunity to track the previous results for every parameter before result entry. It also gives an alert for the results out of specification.
Revol Result Entry screen provides user to manage to enter the results sample wise or analysis wise. It allows to update partial results also.
